Earlier today, The Guardian reported that Neil Gaiman has announced he is three chapters into writing the sequel novel to Neverwhere, which will be titled The Seven Sisters. The news website states:
Gaiman said that he had been prompted to write the sequel both by the changes in the world over the past 20 years and his work with the UN refugee agency (UNHCR). Under the latter’s auspices, he has visited refugee camps in the Middle East and spoken to people displaced by the conflict in Syria.
Gaiman’s fantasy novel about a parallel London set in the abandoned Underground, populated by the homeless, has been previously adapted into a TV show, comic book, and radio drama, as well as a short story spin-off called How the Marquis Got His Coat Back.
